CHS Engineers is always interested in receiving quality résumés. However, as of August 2006, we are only actively seeking to fill the following positions:

Project Manager - Civil

Responsibilities: Full responsibility for project; scoping, budgeting, design, QC and closeout.  Act as individual or lead a team of design professionals.  Close coordination with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced individual, comfortable in their knowledge and ability to progress and complete work.
  • Enjoy directing and mentoring others.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/LDD.
  • Six or more years of experience.
  • Registered PE.
  • Prefer direct experience with storm water modeling and design.

Project Manager - Civil/Structural

Responsibilities: Same as above.

Qualifications:

  • Same as above, except a focus on municipal and private design including retaining walls, vaults and small foundations.

Design Engineer

Responsibilities: Assists project manager/project engineer with design of municipal public works utility projects and private site development for private clients and public agencies including preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates. Other responsibilities may include hydraulic modeling and assistance with permitting and comprehensive planning.

Qualifications:

  • Motivated individual who prefers working on multiple, challenging, projects in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/LDD.
  • One to six years of experience.
  • Registered EIT.
  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering.

Civil & Survey CAD Technician

Responsibilities: Prepare construction drawings, report figures and survey drawings per in-house or client standards.

Qualifications:

  • Motivated individual who prefers working on a multiple challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD LDD including Survey and Civil modules.
  • Two to six years of experience.
